The Vision:
The J.A.M.E.S Coin offers an easy-to-understand introduction to the possibilities that exist within the emerging world of AME. While it combines different design aspects, both mechanical and electrical, to create a simple application, it also offers the opportunity for AME novices from very different fields to align their knowledge and to get their individual AME experience started. Moreover, the J.A.M.E.S Coin focuses on providing a simple NFC functionality which can be used as an electronic business card, in order to reduce paper waste on trade fairs and exhibitions.


The advantages of AME:
While the J.A.M.E.S Coin story is purely meant as an easy-entrance and educational story, it is designed to provide first insights about the potential of AME technology. The additional freedom in design, due to the included third dimension, does not only grant more impressive looks, but also gives more possibilities not only in the electronic circuit design but also in the development of new and futuristic integration concepts.
