Introducing High Precision Capillary Printing (HPCaP)
HUMMINK's patented printing technology (HPCaP) revolutionizes micron and sub-micron printing by employing a direct approach. Very small glass pipettes are used to hold the printing fluid. The pipette is attached to a harmonic oscillator enabling the pipette to oscilate at a fixed frequency. Approaching the pipette to the substate causes a frequency shift once the miniscus of ink is formed and stabilized on the substrate. Capillary forces then drag the ink out of the pipette and enable printing.
