Tackling Delamination
There was a serious problem in our motor controllers: delamination, meaning the material layers separating. This could cause the controllers to be weak and have a short lifespan.
Smart Fix: Meshgrids
We tackled this issue by adding meshgrids to large conductive planes. This redistributes stress and thus improves durability and increases strength in the controllers.
Precision Boost: Fiducials
We've also added fiducials, making the automatic pick-and-place operation quicker; the components are aligned properly, minimizing errors in placement, resulting in time-saving during this stage.
