TUL Welcomes Guests From Thailand For Robotics Collaboration
The Technical University of Liberec (TUL) hosted guests from Chiang Mai University, strengthening international collaboration in robotics and future educational exchanges.
Plans Future Educational Exchanges
The Technical University of Liberec has recently been visited by Dr. Pinyo Puangmali and Dr. Faifan Tantakitti from Chiang Mai University, Thailand. The visit was arranged by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Vice-Dean Jan Valtera, with an eye on international collaboration.
A highlight was the international robotics workshop on June 5th, which demonstrated innovative robotic systems for medical and technical applications. For the first time, Chiang Mai University’s students and staff participated online, bridging an 8,000-kilometer gap. This pioneering event marked a significant milestone for both institutions.
The guests were exposed to a campus tour in the advanced laboratories of TUL, which helped maximize the experience and understanding of the guests in relation to the capabilities of the university. The successful week lays the ground for further development of educational and research cooperation and exchanges between students and staff at all bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. study levels.
Further ahead, Dr. Puangmali and Dr. Tantakitti met with the representatives of TUL: the vice-rector for internationalization Kateřina Maršíková, FM dean Josef Černohorský, various faculty members, and TUC TUL CEO Ondřej Moš. The meetings revealed the huge potential for further cooperation, especially in robotics and AME for medical applications.
This visit is further supported by TUL's strategic management program and underlines how international cooperation can set a promising course for deeper relations between TUL and Chiang Mai University.
