AMAREA - Portfolio Materials And Customized Solutions
AMAREA's extensive materials portfolio customized for advanced applications includes unique combinations of material properties:
conductive and insulating materials (e.g., metal-ceramic, ceramic-ceramic, glass-ceramic-precious metal), hard yet fracture tough composites (hard metals, cermets), dense and porous structures for controlled permeability, and decorative, luminescent, and multicolored options (glass-glass, glass-ceramic-precious metal).
These solutions offer durability, versatility, and precision for complex requirements.

Portfolio Materials and Customized Solutions
Each MMJ printing material combines fine powder with thermoplastic binders and additives. The powder can be derived from a range of high- performance materials, including ceramics, metals, hard metals, cermets, sintered glasses, glass-ceramics, and filled thermoplastic polymers. This versatility enables a broad array of multi-functional applications.
In the MMJ process, thermoplastic binders are heated to form tiny, powderfilled droplets, which cool and solidify almost instantly, building up layers to create a » green part «. This part is then debinded and sintered to produce the final solid structure. MMJ allows multiple materials to be integrated within a single part - like an assembly of different materials, but without the need for actual assembly. It’s a seamless, singlestep Multi-Material 3D printing process.

Unlike Traditional Injection Molding,
where thermoplastic material filled with powders is injected into molds, MMJ uses a layer-by-layer material jetting process that deposits and solidifies powder-filled droplets. This method offers greater design flexibility, complex structures, and precise multi-material distribution within a single part.
